Birthday card
For my brother's birthday, I wanted to give him something homemade this time.
The idea was to play a funny sound as soon as he pressed a button on a birthday card.
I ordered a small electronic module on Alibaba for just 1 euro.
I also had cables and resistors from my electric starter kit at home.
The most expensive part was the battery - a whole 4 euros. As expected, the audio module
from Alibaba didn't work straight away, but it contained all the components I needed.
I compressed the sound and opened it in a USB stick via a virtual environment in VirtualBox
- better safe than sorry, because you shouldn't blindly trust such products.
In the end, the little craft project was finished! My brother was very happy about the creative
idea, and I had fun picking something up and tinkering with it without having much previous experience.

Investment Course and Independent Research
During my studies at the University of Potsdam, I delved deeply into investment theories. To further expand my knowledge, I studied literature such as "The Intelligent Investor" by Benjamin Graham and "Die Prinzipien des Wohlstands" by Florian Homm. Through independent backtesting and analysis of Schlumberger stock, I was able to demonstrate that some of the methods and timing presented in these books are not optimal for modern market conditions.
Unity Armageddon
Concurrent with the start of my first semester, I began experimenting with Unity, aiming to program a complete game within that semester. The initial weeks were challenging to program anything of use. However, with my brother's support and my dedication to following tutorials, I managed to animate the first character - a cylinder on a white platform. While this was a sobering start, it was the stepping stone to gradually understand the C# programming language and Unity engine better. By the end of the second semester, I continuously improved my code, learning to keep performance in mind and write efficient code. The game is now fully developed and has evolved into a top-down shooter where you fight against zombie waves, collect perks, and draw various weapons from the Mystery Case.

Black Holes - Amazon KDP
In 10th grade, I was fascinated by entrepreneurs using ghostwriters to create niche content for Amazon KDP. Though AI wasn't as advanced back then, the idea of publishing content intrigued me. Lacking the initial capital, I published my annual project on black holes as an eBook on Amazon. While it only sold twice, it represents an early step in my journey of content creation. This blog reflects on my evolving views on publishing and the belief that knowledge should be freely accessible, rather than commercialized.
